I haven't received a bill or a statement from insurance (only a week out), but I'm pretty sure I won't have to pay anything. *thank god*

Wow I wish. In total from start of my 6 months to surgery, I had to pay out about 4k out of pocket before my insurance paid 80% up to a max out of pocket of 7k. So last year by time I had surgery I had paid right at 7k out of pocket. I would do it over again in a heart beat.

I spent too much! Reached my out of pocket tho.

Office visits copays, labs, psych eval, surgery, vitamins and protein drinks I HAD to buy from his office which I can no longer drink since I think I'm lactose intolerant pans out to be 3,600

Boy can we say I'm swimming in med bills thanks BC/BS

I feel so lucky after reading how much others had to pay.  United Health - all I had were $35 copays.  Nut was included in surgeon's fees (run from his office) so no copay at all.  Under $200 total.  As much as I don't regret having the surgery I could never have done it otherwise

I had to pay $130.00 for my dietician but my insurance will reimburse me. Only because they dietician didn't bill insurance companies and other than that I don't have to pay anything

My BC/BS plan is a 750.00 deductible yearly. Which is great considering my dr is 5 hours away. Time off wk and travel expenses add up! Waiting I surgery date! I'm positive it will all be worth it 😀
