Surgery Tomorrow- STARVING (were you hungry right after surgery)?

I am miserable right now because I am STARVING. I won't be able to have anything at all for 24 hours. Were you hungry within the first 24 hours after surgery?

No and I wasn't thirsty.  I just wanted to sleep, drink the minimums they had me drink each hour, do my walking, and fart.

Not hungry at all. That was one of my fears as well. I was very thirsty. Sip away!

Can't report on hunger after surgery, as I haven't had mine yet (December 18th). Just wanted to say good luck tomorrow, though! I hope everything goes smoothly for you and that you're as comfortable as possible afterward.

I'm not sure because I wasn't aware of the whole nothing for 24 hours until I read through the info again Friday. I will be getting clarification before surgery. Thanks for the info.

Nope was not hungry at all. I don't remember being hungry for a long time. I had head hunger where I thought I wanted something because I was used to eating it but no physical hunger.
