Morning AV. You're cold and sunny and we're cold and rainy. But hey, it's spring and at least it wasn't snowing this morning, right? I think it's like 40 here.

SO, I had a hectic morning. I went back to the gym after tweaking my back and taking a day off. I am still a little sore, so I modified some of my exercises and eased up on the weights (or omitted them). While others were doing jumping jacks and things that hurt me, I was doing push ups, etc. This all boiled down to another pound down today. There is something to be said for plateaus and stalls. The month of February I lost 5lbs, the month of March I lost 5lbs, and now for the month of April I've lost 5lbs. I've been used to larger losses, but looking back at my last three months I've been pretty consistent with my loss. Hoping that it keeps up, because while I'd love a larger loss, 5lbs is better than nothing. I'm just a few pounds from my doctors goal weight and I'm hoping to get there before the end of May.

I also had therapy this morning. It went very well, and my therapist asked if I still wanted to see her because she thinks I have my **** together pretty well. I opted to keep seeing here once a month, because what if I need her, lol. It's nice to go and talk about things, even if I'm not having problems or feeling out of control. She gets off easy because we cut the appointment a little short when I tell her all the things that are going on and run out of things to talk about. yay for emotional progress.

KQOTD: I guess it's kinda old but I hate the phrase "I know" when speaking to my kid about his schooling. If he actually did know his grades would be better, right?

Good luck tomorrow!  I had mine out last January and it was an easy recovery.  I'm sure you'll do great!
