Good morning and happy thursday . . . it is thursday, right??  I stuck mostly to plan yesterday until 11:00 when I had some peanuts . . . I guess its better than eating hershey's kisses, right?  Today is another day to make better choices. . . .

DQOTD:  I went on a 3 week trip to Israel.  I guess that would be my most exotic.  It was an awesome trip and went all over the country.  I feel I may have posted this before, so if I have, I apologize.  We went from the south, which is very dry and desert-like (although there are areas with freshwater pools and waterfalls) to the kibbutz where my friend's parents stayed when they first got married.  That Kibbutz' main industry is apples and we wandered the orchards picking and sampling the different varieties.  Best apples I've ever had in my life.  It's interesting to look at the pictures now.  We walked everywhere and I was heavy, but at that time (2008) I was going to the gym regularly, so heavy but able to handle the activity.  If you compare pictures from when we first arrived to when we left, you can tell I lost weight from all the walking, swimming and activity.  I would love to do the trip now since there was a lot of opportunity to rock climb, hike, etc.  I think i'd enjoy it much more at my current weight.

Here's my plan:

B: 2 eggs a slice of thin cut deli ham and 1/2 oz cheese

L: Hamburger patty (90/10) with a slice of cheese and grilled onion

D: Chicken thighs

S: light and fit, latte made with 4 oz of fairlife milk, edamame

Totals: Cal: 913; Protein: 98g; Fat: 45g; carbs: 25g

I can relate.  I want a "do-over" of all of my trips, both for better pictures now that I am smaller and to be able to everything I want to do while there!

Good morning, or afternoon to some of you. This is day 4 post op for me. I'm having a bit of a meltdown. I already posted about that, so I won't bore you.

Qotd: I've gotten to travel a lot because my globe-trotting mother often needs a companion. The most exotic place was to Puebla, Mexico. My daughter was in a wedding there. I've been to Mexico and Central America before but nothing compared to Puebla where absolutely no one spoke English. Ordering in a restaurant often had a comical effect.

On another note, my oldest child, son, 20yo, has been living in Canada at a self sufficient catholic community for about a year. He wants to stay a year longer. His job is taking care of the cows. He milks them twice a day and does a lot of ***cleaning everyday.

Food for today is nada. Just trying to get my liquids in.

Ok- late post for me- been driving and in meetings all day- plus I keep having to run to the bathroom to pee.

QOTD: I've been a few 'exotic' places for work: Singapore, London, India, and Brazil. DH and I have been to St.Thomas, St. Martin, Bahamas, Mexico. I was able to go to Germany twice. My DH and I have not gotten to go to Europe yet together so that is on the LIST!!

We are having a team building thingy at 2pm, there will be bowling, rock climbing, lazer tag involved. I can't WAIT!! I wore jeans today and brought tennis shoes for later.

Still haven't decided on my birthday day events- Need to figure that out but I am doing yoga that day

Question: 2 weeks without weight loss but started shark week 3 days ago? Should I be worried? I'm staying on plan, low carb and getting fluids in.

b: carbmaster smoothie, decaf

S: 1/2 gnc bar

L: fajitas no bread, maybe some guac and beans

Don't be scared, as long as you stick to plan you'll lose.  Back around January I was having very little loss for weeks at a time and I was panicking.  I've lost 20lbs since then, so it's obviously not that I'm done losing.

Thanks- I emailed the coordinator just in case but I was starting to panic and it was also starting to get me down in the dumps a little about to the point where I was sulking around the house....
