I ordered some Syntrax protein powders...I had gotten samples at OAC. They have the best price and flat rate shipping, so as long as you are ordering more than one...it works out cheaper than Amazon or anywhere else. Been loving the fuzzy navel- tastes like orangeade and mixes well and tastes good in water. 100 calories and 23g protein. Also bought Chocolate truffle(excellent in yogurt) and Cappuccino. 100% whey protein isolate.

Ordered 2 high protein/low carb breads to try.... blech! One has a better consistency, but still too bland. Might be good for a grilled cheese or french toast but for regular toast...fuggetaboutit!!

Ordered more of the Kay's naturals almond honey cereal...one of my go-to crunchy snacks.

I bought some low carb pizza criusts- haven't eaten them yet- but what a rip off, so tiny... would be better with low carb pita bread... I like the Joseph's or the Toufayan Brands.... I can buy the Toufayan locally, but they carry it on netrition too.

I also have a pre-workout drink I drink everyday before working out (duh!) and the price had been creeping up on Amazon and they have it for $10 cheaper... power_performance_body_effects

I also bought 2 types of Sugar free chocolate chips to try... with the holidays coming this maybe necessary. I have the carbolose low carb flour carbalose- what is used in Carbquik (the low carb version of bisquick) carbquik... and may try making some low carb chocolate chip cookies....

And that answer, my friends, is how I am above my comfort range in maintance for the first time :( Scary **** Gotta buckle down and focus on really reducing calories again. I've not been terrible about anything--it's just those little bites here and there that are adding up. Dammit.

I did get 10,780 steps yesterday though. Not going to happen today but I'll at least try to take a quick walk at lunch.

I hear you! I hit my 'Oh S*@#' weight one day this week.... I listened to my own advice and said no to Ice cream Birthday cake yesterday....

Those BLTs will get you every time.  I had to resist licking the peanut butter spoon this morning; it was probably 30 calories right there.  But OMG, wasa with LC and chicken, I love that combo!  Something to add to my grocery list!

 Those are so hard and almost unconsciously done. When I was on the liquid part of my diet I can't tell you how many times I was spitting stop in to the trashcan because I accidentally took a bite of something I was cooking or fixing for one of the kids.

hey I'm glad that the school is reviewing everything and that you have all the documentation ready.

QOTD: I prefer and grew up with crunchy and I like the texture, but I wouldn't throw any kind of PB out of my mouth. lol

Yesterday i worked, read some of my book which was a huge disappointment, went for a quick job (first one in a month since my surgery) and it was harder than i remember but not necessarily in pain. I also wasn't any faster so have to work up to that since i have a 5k on 16th!! Then i made turkey burgers for dinner (DH's was stuffed with cheese in it), mine was not. then we watched tv for a bit. Started a shorter audio book and it seems to be good.

OH_ I got my torani sugar free pumpkin spice syrup last night!!! so excited, also got a smores one and gingerbread!!

stats yesterday were a little high on cal but also higher on protein. 863 cal, 113 prot, 37 carb

today the plan is:

B: kind prot muffin/1 prot pancake/CM milk/decaf/miralax

S: not sure

L: chicken

D: not sure yet, i need to figure out if I need to go to cvs today or tomorrow.

Need to make more prot pancakes as I'm out and slightly addicted.

Good morning friends! It has been another eventful work week so far, hoping things calm down around here. In the meantime I'm trolling the job boards both inside the VA and outside. The educator job I was talking about should open up next week. It's a 7K per year pay cut, so that's a big minus for it, but I'm still considering it, just for the quality of life/low stress issues.

QOTD: chunky, no questions.

B- irish tea w/SF creamer, 3 oz deli ham

L- ****tail shrimp with sauce

D- shredded chicken with taco fixings but no shell

S- 2 oz deli turkey and cheddar cheese stick

Totals- Cals- 658; protein-83; carbs- 26; fat- 25

**I gained almost 3 pounds between Monday and Tuesday. Monday night I had 6, count them--6 fried pickle slices at a restaurant. The sodium must have been whack because I'm still up the 3 pounds this morning. Water, water, water I guess.

Gain 3lbs overnight? Don't you hate that!!!!  6 fried pickles do not equal 3lbs.
