QOTD: I prefer chunky, but PB of any consistency makes me happy.

My Wednesday:

B: Protein shake with skim milk

S: 8 oz fat-free chicken broth

L: Protein shake with skim milk

S: Sugar free pudding cup

D: Protein shake with skim milk

Cal: 615, Prot: 95g, Carb: 41g, Fat:3g

Less than a week to go, and I haven't cheated! Based on some advice I heard here, I cut out the cream of wheat and juice after the first few days. Just because I can eat it doesn't mean I should. I've been trying to keep my carbs below 50g. I'm 12 pounds down from my consult weight, and I'm so excited for Tuesday.

Crunchy, creamy, it's all good. We keep the creamy around mostly because that's what the little kids like. Funny story...my 11yo is autistic...he eats a super self-limited diet, like only a few foods. Years ago I decided to try to get him on a trial period of  gluten/casein free....it did not ever happen, but one of the first things I did was try to make substitutions with foods he willingly ate. Peanut butter was one. I swapped our usual brand for Peter Pan because it is gluten free. He freaked out that I had bought peanut butter "made with Peter Pans" and quit eating peanut butter altogether...one of the few protein sources he would eat. So that was the end of that little experiment.

food---I have not even thought about it, so I'm winging it as I go.

breakfast- two eggs w/ half a slice of cheese, coffee w/ milk

lunch- leftover chicken curry from last night

Dinner- making a pork roast in the crock pot...I will try some and see how it sits.

Snack- a protein shake if I need it, or maybe a caramel apple yogurt if I can get enough meat in to not need the extra grams. Does anyone mix unflavored protein in yogurt? Does it affect the taste?

Unjury unflavored protein powder dissolves fine in the greek yogurt... I add half a scoop and it gets me another 10 grams of protein!

OH, and the BEST way to eat PB...stick a spoon in the jar, and then roll the spoon in a bag of chocolate chips....mmmmmm....

(gee, I don't know how I ever got so fat...)

Rushing again...too much to do this week. Crazy making. Tomorrow is the consult to see if I can piggy back the tummy tuck onto the mesh removal.  Wish me luck. Also...I need the lottery numbers...FO REAL. Kid tuition bill is due and I am flipping out hunting for money. 401K sounds good...who needs to ever retire right??

QOTD: I really loved PB prior to surgery...now...honestly...don't hate AV...it is just too sweet. It tastes yucky and makes my tummy miserable.

Menu: B: Chobani "Crunch" Simply 100, L: Mozzarella knot, salami; D: Tuna noodle casserole S: Apple and Light & Fit Greek Pumpkin Pie flavor

Totals: Cal: 730; Protein: 56; Carb 76; Fat 22

Protein is a little low...might add some more salami...or bacon. :)

I know you're not Katie but Hiddles is my secret boyfriend and he deserves to be shared.

Image result for judging you, too
