picklepicklespicklespickles.  LOL

I've made Trisha Yearwood's 'unfried' pickle recipe before and it's pretty damn yum.  I know you know, but I bet you could use almond flour or smooshed up pork rinds in place of the panko.  Mmmm...panko.

You give the priest hell, AV (pun intended).  I hope you get the resolution that you are looking for, I would hate for your son to have to leave that school because of someone else's bad behavior, it just doesn't seem fair.  Of course you need to do what you need to do to keep your son safe.

So, I had a fantastic day yesterday.  I've totally reset from struggling the last few weeks/months.  I think that the combination of new meds (yay for prozac), the OH Conference, my new weight loss and getting this new job has really gone a long way to getting my head in the right place.  I'm feeling strong in my ability to follow plan and now that the scale has started moving again after months of being at a stand still, I'm super motivated to keep it moving down.

As for the prozac, I'm just 2 weeks into take it and I am amazed.  I haven't felt this normal in years.  I had no idea, guys.  I'm always an upbeat person, but I feel freaking amazing compared to my everyday of the last two decades.  I know it's still early out, but I can feel the difference already and I'm super excited.

So, I'm going to get my kid out of the house today.  I am hoping a nice long walk to the park and maybe a stop into visit grandma today.  Here's my plan:

14 months since surgery

B: oatmeal apple cup (made these last night for hubby and my kids for breakfast) 2 eggs with reduced sugar ketchup.  Coffee with SF Coffeemate

L: romaine salad with boneless chicken, tomatoes, cucumbers and sugar free skinny girl dressing

D: ground turkey with onions, peppers and tomatoes topped with shredded mozzarella.

S: light and fit greek yogurt and a quest shake made with unsweetened vanilla almond milk

totals

calories 980 protein 112 carbs 53 fat 37

have a fantastic day everyone!

edited to add the QOTD:  Usually creamy peanut butter, but occasionally I like the crunchy as well.  I don't really eat much of it now, because it's so high calorie, but I do love it.  Yummy.

So, I just threw it together. I used 4 cups of apples chopped small, 3 cups of old fashioned oats, 1.5 cups of unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 cups splenda brown sugar, a splash of sugar free torani brown sugar and cinnamon syrup, and 4 eggs all mixed together and slapped into muffin cups.  I made the mistake of using muffin papers and they are kinda stuck to the paper.  Next time I'll just use spray in the pans.  They are 88 calories each.  Not great on carbs/protein, but I just had one as a treat with my eggs this morning and it was very satisfying.

Oh, and that recipe made 24 muffins.

edited** forgot to add that I added 2 scoops of quest plain protein baking mix to it, so it has a tiny bit of protein, but the ratio is not good.  I think it's 4g of protein per cup.
