End of 6 month diet ...

Dec 7th, 915am and the scale at my Dr's office looms ahead. -2lbs!! For a total 10 lb weight loss. Not a lot, but more than what I expected. I have always had trouble losing the weight, gaining, not a problem! Now I have two more labs that need to be done -- three if you include the one Dr C just wrote out! More blood draws and urine collection for 24 hrs!! Ugh!As soon as those test results are back I will be forwarding all my medical history for the last 5 years, the copies of Dr C's notes for the last 6 months to the Surgeons office. After that I just PRAY the insurance says yes.
I am trying to not get my hopes up - my fear is that they will say no and I will lose almost $4,000 on my flex card - yes there are things I can use the money for but it was intended for this surgery. I have done what I can for now ... I will be keeping up with the dieting and exercise. Hopefully someday soon I will be posting that I have been approved (most likely after the first of the year sometime).
