Two Months Post-Op
Aug 27, 2012
Well, two months on the losers bench! The weight loss has been constant and getting better each week. I had stalled around week 3 and 4 but things have been picking up. I started in December at 272, Pre op weight was 252 and today I am 213. I couldn't be happier with the loss. What I could be happier about though........my back and my gallbladder. My back has hurt constantly since surgery but I did fall one week post op but it just doesn't seem to get completely healed before it starts hurting again. AND then, the gallbladder! I sooooo wish the surgeon had taken it out during surgery! He said it was scarred and there was a stone in it. I had and an ultrasound a few weeks ago and YES there is a stone Mr Obvious! I get to go back into surgery to have it removed this Friday! Not too happy but what am I gonna do.I have gone from a size 24 to an 18 which is AWESOME. I really want to lose the fat around the belly but I need to be patient and it will go. I have lost my butt and my tailbone hurts when I am sitting at work. I squirm the last several hours at work. :-) I am thinking about a butt pillow.
I have incorporated a more variety of foods, like shrimp, chicken, tuna etc. I am afraid of carbs and avoid them at all costs. I have had several parties where there was cake and cupcakes but have not had the urge to partake! Yeah me! Butttt, I would love some cold Round Table Pizza King Arthur Supreme. I have been the pillar of strength since December 2011! No chocolate, no cake, no soda.
I do wish that the gym light bulb switch would turn on. Maybe when I am feeling better. Every week I say that I am going, but don't. I wish I could just get there.
So happy I did this. Sorry hubby, but this is what I needed. I needed to be selfish this time and do it for me!
