Trinity Medical Center

"The nurses and PAs were very nice and attentive. It was very private and quiet (when my kids weren't visiting lol). Clean and comfortable. "

Manuel E. Castro-Arreola

"My first impression of Dr. Castro was that he was a very personable man/doctor. Friendly, knowledgeable and possessing a wonderful bedside manner. I felt at ease almost immediately and that hasn't changed. rnrnThe staff at his office is no exception. Right from the start, Lyndora answered any and all questions I had and handled all the arrangements perfectly and with as much consideration to my distance from the office and schedule as was possible. She made it all so much less stressful than it could have been otherwise. rnrnThe rest of the staff is just as great.rnrnDaphne works for Dr. Castro and is also a patient so she's been just exactly where we all are going into this and it's very easy to feel comfortable with her. She's very sweet, and that helps too. :-)rnrnAs are the other ladies at the office (I'm sorry I can't remember all the names!) and Dr. Castro's surgical/physician assistants Greg and John. I saw John for my 1st post-op checkup and he couldn't be any friendlier or encouraging. rnrnWhat did I like least about him? Well, I'm not really sure if this counts as a dislike, but I was expecting to see him before I went in the OR and I didn't. Of course, I was pretty much knocked out by the stuff they gave me to relax me BEFORE they gave me the stuff to knock me out (lol) and I don't even remember much after sliding onto the OR table. If he was there before I went under, I wouldn't have known it anyway. rnrnAs far as anything after the surgery, I'm still a newbie, and have only had one follow up visit. It went very well as I suspect they all will. I was given a ton of information that I keep close at hand - my WLS bible - and if I have any questions or concerns I was encouraged by every staff member along the way to call at anytime. rnrnOverall I would rate Dr. Castro a nine (only because no one but God and Jesus is perfect) and recommend him to anyone seeking WLS. rnrnI did A LOT of research going into this and honestly, I tried to find something bad about Dr. Castro. It just isn't out there - and now, from first hand experience, I can see why. rnrnrnrnrn*All statements are of my own personal experience and do not suggest what others may have or will experience themselves. rnrn"
