Happy Saturday everyone,

I too have a lazy weekend planned. My husband finally has a weekend off so going out together may be in the cards. I also found out yesterday that I go back to work 5 days earlier than I thought so waah!

Yesterday I bought a 5 pound pack of ground beef marked down to $9. I decided with that amount of meat to make everyone's favorite, Cincinnati chili. I ate about 2 oz with cheese and then for a snack ate another 2 oz. I ended up feeling like **** I felt like I did when I dumped on fruit. Cincinnati chili is pretty fatty so I think that's why I dumped again. So now I know I have to be careful about fat too. I'm not feeling very hungry today so my menu might change.

B 2 eggs, coffee with cream

L turkey cheese wrap

D turkey meatloaf

S light and fit yogurt

Calories 655 Carbs 31 Protein78

Good morning JB and weekend gang! I too slept in and am having a very lazy weekend, its a coffee and lazy day kind of weekend.  Its overcast and warm and muggy here. Just going to jump in the shower and hubby and I are off to go running shoe shopping.

I am still down 3 lbs after coming home from vacation.  Apparently my body likes vacation!  I also fee like I am eating less, I just don't have an appetite.  Its good to know that at almost 3 years out I can lose weight if I want to.  I am sure JB that you will lose the few pounds in no time.

I too have let my exercise slide a bit, I was running daily and at the gym doing weights and I have let life and work and stuff get in the way.  So for me exercising is a big mental & emotional stress reliever so I do actually love it, I feel strong and accomplished when I leave the gym!  We can do this!!!

QOTD: love Trivial Pursuit, the 1st version, like when it came out.  I also love Monopoly and I love Boggle but I am not so great at it. Card games I can totally get down on, I love a good game of Euchre!!!!

Time since surgery: 2 years + 8 months

B: leftover from dinner last night - grilled Angus steak

S: Mr. Cheese O's

L: Chicken Quesadilla

S: Coca dusted almonds

D: grilled pork chops and grilled zucchini

S: Mr. Cheese Os

Totals: 795 calories, 87 protein, 16 carbs, 4 fat

Vits done, water good, 5km run at the gym today and will do sit ups as well

Have a wonderful Saturday gang!!

Hi Daisy! Don't play board games with JB. She gets mean. Also, I left my Smarties at her house. I can probably kiss those goodbye, right?

Give hubby a smooch for me.

My hubby and i love Euchre. Hubby is all into Hoyle, and maybe eventually I'll figure out all the rules.  But even though i don't understand hoyle, we all play pretty well together.  Usually ee play with my in-laws,  and they are really good, so we don't always win.  Fun stuff!
