Vivid...yes. Totally like I am wide awake all night but I am dreaming.  Interesting?  Not in the least.  I dreamed about inventory control project ALL night one night. I don't even do this for a living...no clue why my brain wanted to reorg a warehouse but it did. Another night was processing paperwork for a new train system. Again...nothing about that is from my actual life and I hadn't been watching TV for several days before that.  No clue what is up in my brain.  I am grateful that so far it hasn't been zombies. I wake up feeling bored with the dreams and pretty well rested. I'll take that.

Hopefully they will get more fun soon!

Good morning all. I'm sorry you're having a tough time Daisy. I have not had sleep issues like you do or my BF has and I know he gets frustrated and he has a hard time focusing when that happens. I hope you find whatever it is that you need to restore.

QOTD - When I am off, I used to have a couple glasses of wine, but that is out... Now, I need downtime and usually alone. I will veg in front of the TV, nap and sometimes journal. Other times I get busy cleaning out closets or organizing the cupboards.

3 month surgiversary!! I have my 3 month Dr. appt tomorrow.

b- coffee w/heavy cream and SF cinnamon vanilla syrup

b2- jimmy dean frittata - turkey sausage and veggie.... not sitting well with me at all

l-LF salami and LF sharp cheddar cheese

d- turkey meatballs, SF marinara and parm cheese

v/l - water is getting easier to drink again, yay!

e-treadmill tonight

Have a great day!

I know I shouldn't, but "sit in a corner and want to eat" made me laugh out loud. Because... #truth.

Hi Daisy, so sorry to hear that sleep is still a problem.  I usually have several nights of insomnia per month. I am scared to death of getting addicted to sleeping pills. So, I did not fill the prescription my doctor gave me.   Lately I have found good results with slow chest breathing (in and out for a count of 6 seconds each) and meditation (imagining I'm on a beach with a nice breeze). This works most of the time but when it doesn't I usually walk the floor for hours then am a total ***** the next day!

Time since surgery: 7 weeks

B: Hazelnut Coffee with Half & Half and Ideal Protein Cappuccino

S: Cheese Stick

I'm super bummed you're not sleeping well/feeling well. To answer the question - I know that if I get to feeling off kilter it's probably time to see my psychiatrist for a medication tweak. I've had depression/anxiety pretty much my entire life (I remember having it in my teens for sure). I've just embraced it now... it is what it is... I need to take it seriously for not just me, but my family.

This weekend was pretty mellow, thankfully. The kids have the whole week off of school - hubby may take my daughter to Universal Studios in LA later in the week when our tax refund comes in (Uncle Sam says 2/23). I started scrubbing my grout - I don't do hands and knees scrubbing... I do scoot around on my butt scrubbing and oh are my bony processes in the center of my glutes sore!! Did two days worth of scrubbing and got about 250-300 square feet done. The result is shocking. So glad  I did it! It is four years of build up with frequent cleaning of floors, but not scrubbing of the grout, you know what I mean?

Plan today is no scrubbing! Just making sure I get my 10K steps in and taking it easy.

B - cup skim milk and scoop of Chocolate Unjury

S - cup skim milk and scoop of Chocolate Unjury

L - Anderson Split Pea Soup - 1/4 to 1/3 cup

S - Light and Fit Greek Yogurt

D - Tuna - 0.9-1.0 ounce with half ounce light miracle whip

S - vitamins  and meds - they seem like a meal with how long it takes to get them down now!

I have about 2000 sq ft of tile if you wanna come hang out some weekend... I'll cook

LOL, seriously though... that's quite an undertaking! My grout is awful. We live in OK where everything is that orange clay color... and so is my grout... thankfully it compliments the rustic tiles we have

Vitamins are the worst! I switched to the Patches, and I'm so happy with them. 6 months now, and my blood levels were all great!
