4 Wks Post Op....

Well, what can I say?  I am officially four weeks post op as of yesterday and a month as of tomorrow. 

I am so happy, thrilled, excited, etc.  It's been a wonderful journey thus far.  I have not had any discomfort or reactions to any food.  My doctor still has me on fluids until I see him again on 12/18 but I have started incorporating things like cheese strings and bean soup into my diet.  Of course, I chew until I dissolve things in my mouth before swallowing.  As of Sunday morning, I had lost 25.5 lbs.....  I feel great, my clothes are fitting much better, my husband says I've already lost my ass, I don't feel winded when I walk up the stairs at work, I don't break a sweat that easily, and on and on and on.  Mostly, I feel it in my left knee, the one I had 2 surgeries on in less than a year time between the summer of '06 & spring '07.  Life is great!!!  God is wonderful!!  I'm on my way to a new life, a life I've longed for for too many years.
