Good morning from gloomy Syracuse!  It's supposed to be cloudy with on and off thunderstorms all day.  This is the perfect day to snuggle in under the covers with a good book, but where am I?  At the cubicle farm with all the other patient accounting gophers.  Boo!  This day will drag, I can feel it.

So, I need to cut back on the Miralax.  LMAO  Methinks that stuff works a little too well for me.  Maybe a half a dose every other day or something, just to keep things moving.  I've also discovered that too much Wyler's half lemonade/half iced tea, which I love so much, gives me crazy heartburn.  Most of the iced tea drink mixes do that, but I never learn.  LOL  I was loving the blueberry lemonade, but I can't find it anymore.    I should try one of the Mio-type things.  Anyone have a favorite flavor?

QOTD!  Who was the last person you called?  As you may know, I'm not really a fan of talking on the phone.  I talk on the phone at work all day, so pretty much the last thing I want to do when I'm home is be on the phone.  I mean, if you can text me, do that.  LOL  However, there are times when I have to call someone.  The last person I called was Matt just last night.  I needed to close up some boxes and I couldn't find the duct tape.  HA!

Time since surgery:  2+ years

B:  Great Value toasted coconut vanilla Greek yogurt and Special K Pumpkin Spice cereal

S:  A big beautiful peach and a slice of sharp cheddar

L:  HB egg with a tuna pouch and some pork rinds

D:  I have no idea.  It's like Mother Hubbard up in this piece.

TOTALS (w/o dinner):  Cals:  631  Protein:  57  Carbs:  49  Fat:  25

Have a great Wednesday!

Good Morning Everyone!

I can't believe it's the last day of August already!  Where has the Summer gone?

QOTD:  The last person I called was my daughter, Saralisa, from Denver to tell her I was on my way back home.

Yesterday I ate:  a Clif protein bar, moon cheese, turkey sausage bites, sugar-free pudding, a lettuce salad with tomatoes, bacon & cheese and a Clif protein bar.

Have a fantastic day everyone!

I don't know.  I guess I had a weak day.    I just really like them.  They are so much easier than cooking something.

I had to throw mine in the trash. I was going to leave them around for my kids to eat, but I like them too much too. At this point, they are trash for my body so that's where they belong.

Hi Cynthia,

Clif Builder's chocolate peanut butter.  20 gr protein, 280 calories.  They don't make me nauseous.  Sometimes I eat half of one and then eat the other half later.

A good rule of thumb is a maximum of 10 calories for each gram of protein. So 20 grams of protein would be a maximum of 200 calories. These are 280, and that's a lot.

Thanks, Grim, that's a good rule of thumb.  I will try to do better.
